Herp a Derp

Well I realize that I have been talking about some of my 2 best friends friends a lot.  I’m stealing this idea from Meghan and doing an intro thingy-ma-jig.
JEN
imageThis is Jen! She’s from Minnesota and she’s an English major.  She’s a senior like me and lives right across the hallway.  We met on the first day here and quickly became very good friends.  Her hobbies include: not going to sleep until 6am, watching Friends with me, singing, playing the piano, blogging (http://jennifersaemi.blogspot.com/), pinterest, shopping, and being an all around great friend :)

MEGHAN
imageShe is also an English major and lives in the newer part of Grizedale.  She’s from the West coast of Canada and is also an English major.  Meghan is a 3rd year and I met her only a few weeks ago!!  Her hobbies include: reading and having good taste in books, asking me to go on last minute trips to Manchester, making cheese toasties and tea, being a Habs fan, blogging (http://inkingaway.wordpress.com/), enjoying when I stroke her ego, and being a wonderful friend!!! I can’t believe how close we have gotten in just a few short weeks :)  Also, we’re planning on writing letters to each other, since Meghan is spending will be spending the entire year here.
Well there you have it! My two best friends here and could not have asked for better friends :) WE HUG EACH OTHER!!!! The English don’t really do the whole hugging thing so whenever we see each other we get our hugs in.  I remember Meghan and I talking about this the other night and how much we miss hugs.  I went over to her room when her computer was crashing and freaking out and gave her a big hug! The 3 of us hang out a lot and I love it! I am going to miss them so much, but I’m planning on writing letters to Meghan and hopefully visiting Jen in Minneapolis.  There seem to be a lot of interesting jobs in Minneapolis so I’ll also go to check out the city and if I could see myself living there.
Random thing that I think I forgot to mention in my blog post last night.  I have never felt more comfortable in a city than I did in London this weekend.  I felt more comfortable in London than I did in Buffalo!  I don’t know what exactly it was, but I just walked around and felt very at home.  I think part of it was that by the end of the weekend, I had the tube completely figured out.  I couldn’t tell you how to get from one of Buffalo to the other. I really, really love London and the energy that it has.  Who knows, hopefully I will make it back there someday and stay longer!  *fingers crossed*
Have a good one :)
